Hello!

It has been almost 2 months since Skyblock Season 2 ended however we are now ready to launch Skyblock Season 3. This season will bring several new features along with an array of minor improvements.

Firstly, we have revamped our in-game shop to include options for buying and selling in bulk which means that players can now buy or sell up to 9 stacks of an item in one go which eliminates the need to open and close the shop GUI several times. Furthermore, our shop now includes a new category called 'Level Up in Bulk'. This category will consist of Buy Only items that are laid out in ascending order of purchase price. The purpose of this is to allow players to purchase one block with monetary island level value which means that levelling up your island will become less tiresome as up to 100,000,000 island level points can be gained by placing a single block. The blocks on offer in this shop are as follows:

Note Block : 100,000 : 1,000,000

Dragon Egg : 100,000,000 : 1,000,000,000

You may have noticed that the points on offer are exactly 10% of the buy price. This rule has been applied elsewhere for all items sold in /shop. (When the buy price of an item is a decimal, we will be dividing it by 10 and then rounding up to the nearest whole number.) When the buy price of an item is is LESS THAN £10, there will be no island level points on offer.

We have also added 2 new Spawners to the 'Spawners' section of the in-game shop. The new spawners are: Squid and Guardian which will cost £100,000,000 and £1,000,000,000 respectively. Squids will be dropping Gunpowder when killed and Gunpowder can be sold for £24,200 per unit in the 'Mob Drops' section. Elder Guardians, on the other hand, will drop End Portal Frames. End Portal Frames will sell for £266,200 per unit in the 'Mob Drops' section.

One of the new features we have added to Skyblock are turrets. There are 4 turrets available: Siege, Burst, Laser and Healing.

- Siege: Slow speed turret that damages multiple enemies on every hit.
- Burst: Fast speed turret with no extra abilities.
- Laser: Medium speed turret that pushes the enemy on every hit.
- Healing: Slow speed turret that heals multiple allies.

Siege, Burst and Laser Turrets can be obtained in the Legendary Crate or in the Mob Coins Shop for 5000 Mob Coins. The Healing Turret is exclusive to the Heroic Crate. Ammunition is required for the turrets to shoot. 2 stacks of Ammunition can be obtained from the Vote Crate whereas 6 stacks of Ammunition can be obtained from the Heroic Crate. Each player will have a limit of 3 turrets however those of you with Potato+ will have a limit of 5 turrets.

This season, the prizes for the top islands are as follows:
1st Place - £20 PayPal
2nd Place - £10 PayPal
3rd Place - £10 In-Game Store

Hello, I’m LisaDeLion and if you’ve read my introduction about myself you’ll know I have some Giant African Land Snails, this can be abbreviated to GALS. So if you ever hear me say GALS you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Many people may be put off with GALS because they are slimy and could pass on disease. However don’t let this put you off because although they can pass on diseases especially one called Angiostrongylus cantonensis this only happens in wild GALS who have ingested rat faeces. GALS also carry a strand of salmonella but this can only be contracted if you don’t wash your hands after holding a giant african land snail and then eat something.

Some Fun Facts:
1. Giant African land snails shells can grow up to 3-4 inches in length
2. They can lay a clutch of hundreds of eggs at one time
3. They can eat a variety of food including raw mince, dog biscuits (as long as they don’t contain salt) and fish food

Thank you for bringing this bug to our attention. It has now been fixed so you should be able to craft stained glass now. :)

Hello!

Skyblock season 2 will be starting today at 6pm BST! Everything has been reset to give new players a chance to succeed this season.

We have added a reasonable amount of new features including: /hat for Potato+ rank, /smelt for Potato rank and /smeltall for Potato+ rank. In addition to this, we have added multiple new starter islands which consist of: Netherblock, Candy, Sand, Jungle, Swamp and Snow! Players will now have a much greater choice when choosing what island to start off with.

Lastly, I would like to talk about the new "Mob coins" currency we have added. Every time you kill a mob, you will receive some Mob Coins. The number of Mob Coins you receive will depend on the type of Mob you have killed. For example, killing a cow will get you 3 Mob Coins but killing a Skeleton would get you 5 mob coins. The mob coin shop can be accessed by typing /mobcoin or by accessing it in the main menu by typing /menu. This will open a GUI where you can see your balance in addition to all of the exclusive items you can purchase with your mob coins. The Mob Coin shop will consist of: items with custom enchantments and other useful items to grow your island such as Crop Hoppers, Sell Sticks and Spawners.

This season, the prizes for the top islands are as follows:

Minigames / Minigames Open Beta - Known Bugs

Hello!

Thank you to everyone that logged on tonight to helped Beta Test our new Minigames server. We were pleased with the outcome and the response of this new gamemode. I understand that there are a fair few bugs and intermittent lag spikes however we will try our best to solve these as quickly as we can. Listed below are all the known issues with the Minigames server.

- Lag spikes ✓
- PvP Glitches - Especially With Staff ✓
- 5 Kills to Win Quake Craft should be 10 ✓
- OITC breaks tab colours ✓
- Block Party - PvP should be disabled ✓

Hello all!

It has been over a month since Potato Paradise re-opened its doors to players and we have been busy trying to improve on our Skyblock server. We are thrilled with the outcome of the Skyblock server however it's now time to grow the network into other gamemodes.

We will be releasing our new Minigames server on Friday the 18th of October at 6pm BST and we cannot wait for you to check it out. There will be a new "Stars" system where you earn Stars by playing minigames with your friends. With these stars, you will be able to purchase Cosmetic Crate Keys to obtain cosmetics which you would have otherwise not been able to obtain with your current Rank. Don't worry though as all Potato and Potato+ Ranks will be retaining their wide variety of cosmetics included in their rank. The new crate keys can be purchased using the new in-game currency on our Hub and new Minigames server by right-clicking the ender chest and clicking on the "Treasure Chests" button. In order to see the highest-ranked players, simply type /startop on the Minigames server.

The Minigames server will consist of the following Minigames: Quake Craft, One in the Chamber, The Bridge, Hide and Seek, The Lab, Block Party and Murder mystery. Please note that this server is an OPEN BETA meaning the Minigames listed may be subject to intermittent lag and bugs. Please read the folowing thread for more detailed instructions on how to report Bugs to us: https://bit.ly/2MZnKTF Remember that you will receive a £10 000 reward in Skyblock OR ★5000 on our Minigames/Hub server for reporting a VALID, newly discovered bug. Please also be aware that Bug Exploiting - using the bug to your own advantage - will result in a sanction depending on the severity.

For simpler navigation, you can now open the Server Selector on any one of our gamemodes simply by typing /join which will open the GUI meaning you don't have to return to Hub to switch between Skyblock and the new Minigames server. The Minigames server version is 1.12 however all versions of Minecraft from 1.8+ are supported. We recommend using a 1.12.x client for optimal performance. Missing blocks will be replaced with a suitable alternative if logged in with an older client. EG: Red Concrete becomes Red Stained Clay.
